San Andreas Law

The San Andreas Law is a series of (mock) legal provisions for use in Grand Theft Auto V roleplay. These statues are public domain and may be used freely at no cost by any roleplay community at will. This includes, reading, copying, and re-distribution with or without credit.

Code Explanation

The San Andreas Law consists of a hierarchy:

1. Title
   1. Chapter
      1. Section
         1. Subsection
            1. Article

Example: (6)2.1.7 Vehicular Manslaughter (Read aloud as Title 6, Chapter 2, Section 1, Subsection 7; "Vehicular Manslaughter".)

Or, you can be more specific. For example, a DUI related Vehicular Manslaughter can be cited as: (6)2.1.7a Vehicular Manslaughter - the "a" indicating which article of the subsection you're citing. In this example article "a" represents DUI-related Vehicular Manslaughter. (Or read aloud as Title 6, Chapter 2, Section 1, Subsection 7, Article A; "Vehicular Manslaughter".)
