(4)6.9.1 Verification and Announcement
(a) Recording the Verdict.
- The court shall formally record the jury’s verdict in the official court docket.
- The verdict shall be read aloud in open court to ensure all parties and the defendant are informed.
(b) Poll of the Jury.
- Any party may request that the court poll the jury to confirm each juror’s concurrence with the verdict.
- Polling ensures accuracy and compliance with requirements for unanimity or other prescribed verdict standards.
