A person is guilty of Obstructing Identity under this subsection if he or she:

(a) willfully provides materially false identifying information to a law enforcement officer who has lawfully requested such information in the course of an official investigation, detention, arrest, or traffic stop; and

(b) does such in an attempt to mislead or otherwise obscure their true identity.

Obstructing Identity is a Gross Misdemeanor.
