(6)7.1.3 Escape in the Second Degree

A person is guilty of Escape in the Second Degree under this subsection if he or she, while lawfully in custody authorized by statute, escapes such custody and:

(a) Causes injury do another person; or

(b) Causes property damage in excess of $500 during the course of the escape.

Escape in the Second Degree is a Class B Felony.
