(6)7.1.10 Obstruction of Justice
A person is guilty of Obstruction of Justice under this subsection if he or she willfully:
(a) physically interferes with the administration of justice, including by way of:
- Attempting to prevent a law enforcement officer from conducting a lawful arrest or performing an investigation; or
- Attempting to prevent a crime scene investigator, detective or technician complete their official duties as such; or
- Attempting to prevent the serving of any legal document, such as a notice to appear or warrant.
Obstruction of Justice is a Gross Misdemeanor.
