Roleplay Laws Discord Bot

The Roleplay Laws Discord Bot allows community leaders (or otherwise just Discord server owners) to add an automated bar verification system.

Adding the Bot

To add the bot use the link below and follow the instructions on the page:

Any server may use this free bot.

Once the bot has been added to the server, follow these easy setup steps:

Create a new role with the word "bar" in it. It is not case sensitive. (Examples: "Bar Certified" or "Passed Bar Exam" or just "Bar")
Place the RPLaws.xyz (bot) role above your bar role.
Have a bar certified user test it using "!verify" in any server channel. If they get the role, your bot has been setup correctly.

No response from using !verify: This usually means that the bot is not able to give the role. Make sure there is a role with "bar" in the name and that it is BELOW the bot's role. Without these, the bot will fail.
Error messages: Error messages like "database issues" or "invalid API key" are indicative of an issue on our end. If left unresolved after a few hours, feel free to notify us on discord.
Please complete the bar exam message: This means that the user attempting to verify has not passed the bar exam at bar exam portal and must do that prior to attempting to verify credentials.
