(7)3.3.1 Yield to Emergency Vehicles

A driver operating a motor vehicle on a public roadway shall:

(a) Yield immediately: Upon approaching an authorized emergency vehicle using audible and visual signals, drivers shall safely move to the right edge of the roadway and stop if necessary.

(b) Do not follow or impede: Drivers shall not follow an emergency vehicle more closely than is reasonable for safety, nor drive in a manner that impedes its progress.

(c) Resume travel safely: After the emergency vehicle has passed, drivers may re-enter normal traffic flow only when it is safe to do so.

Violation of this subsection constitutes a Level 4 Infraction.
