(7)3.2.2 Responsibility at a Stop Sign

A driver operating a motor vehicle approaching a stop sign shall:
(a) Come to a complete stop: Drivers shall stop at the marked stop line, or if none, before entering the crosswalk or intersection.
(b) Yield the right of way: After stopping, drivers shall yield to pedestrians, bicyclists, and any vehicles lawfully within or approaching the intersection.
(c) Proceed only when safe: Drivers shall not enter the intersection until it is clear and it is safe to proceed.
(d) Observe continuous caution: Even after stopping, drivers remain responsible for ensuring the intersection is clear before moving.
Violation of this subsection constitutes a Level 3 Infraction.
