(7)11.5 Maintaining Lanes, Passing, Lane Changes
Any driver operating a motor vehicle along a public roadway shall:
(a) keep the entirety of their vehicle within the confines of one lane at any given time, given they are not executing a lawful turn or lane change; and
(b) begin lawfully signaling a turn at an intersection no less than 200 feet prior to entering the intersection; and
(c) begin lawfully signaling a turn a lane change no less than 300 feet prior to departing their lane of travel; and
(d) not pass over a solid white, solid yellow, or double yellow painted line on the roadway; and
(e) if travelling along a multi-lane highway, remain in the right-most lane unless moving left to pass slower motorists; and
(f) if attempting to pass a vehicle lawfully on a two-lane roadway or highway, signal 200 ft prior to departing their lane, make an effort to pass the vehicle as quick as is safe to do such, and return to the correct lane of travel as soon as it is safe to do such.
Failure to comply with (a), (b), or (e) of this section is a Level 2 Infraction.
Failure to comply with (d) or (f) of this section is a Level 4 Infraction
