(6)5.2.3 Motor Vehicle Exhibition

A person is guilty of Motor Vehicle Exhibition under this subsection if he or she:
(a) willfully and intentionally operates a motor vehicle in a manner designed to display speed, acceleration, engine power, handling, or traction, including but not limited to racing, drag racing, rapid acceleration, tire squealing, burnouts, drifting, or similar conduct; and
(b) does so on a public roadway, highway, parking area open to the public, or any location where the public has a right of access; and
(c) such operation is not otherwise authorized by law or conducted as part of a permitted or sanctioned motor vehicle event.
Motor Vehicle Exhibition is a Misdemeanor.
