(4)6.8.3 Polling and Reporting

(a) Polling the Jury.

Upon announcement of the verdict, any party may request that the court poll individual jurors to ensure the verdict is unanimous or in compliance with court instructions.

(b) Official Reporting.

• The jury’s verdict shall be formally recorded in the court docket and read aloud in open court.
• The court may address any irregularities or ambiguities before formally accepting the verdict.
