(7)4.1.6 Mirrors
A driver shall not operate a motor vehicle on a public roadway unless the vehicle is equipped with mirrors that provide adequate visibility to the rear and sides. Mirror requirements include:
(a) Vehicles must have at least one rearview mirror and one side mirror on the driver’s side, with additional mirrors as required for vehicle type.
(b) Mirrors shall be securely mounted, properly adjusted, and free from cracks, damage, or obstructions that impair visibility.
(c) Drivers shall use mirrors to maintain awareness of surrounding traffic and ensure safe lane changes, turns, and maneuvers.
Violation of this subsection is a Level 2 Infraction.
