(6)2.4.5 Vulnerable Adult Abduction
A person is guilty of Vulnerable Adult Abduction under this subsection if he or she willfully:
(a) takes, entices, detains, conceals, harbors, or removes a person who is a vulnerable adult; and
(b) does so without lawful authority or the consent of the vulnerable adult’s legal guardian, lawful custodian, or authorized caregiver; and
(c) with intent to:
- substantially interfere with the vulnerable adult’s lawful care, supervision, custody, or control; or
- conceal the vulnerable adult from a guardian, custodian, caregiver, or law enforcement; or
- exploit, neglect, isolate, or deprive the vulnerable adult of necessary care, medication, services, or lawful access for a non-trivial period of time.
Vulnerable Adult Abduction is a Class C+ Felony.
