(6)7.2.1 Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

A person is guilty of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender under this subsection if he or she:

(a) is required by law to register as a sex offender pursuant to court order, statute, or conviction in this or any other jurisdiction; and

(b) willfully fails to register, fails to update registration information, or provides materially false or incomplete registration information within the time, manner, or frequency required by law.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender is a Gross Misdemeanor.
